AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) has launched a new kind of acceleration process, which requires any processor capable of computing more than ever, for the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.A new device, called AMD Fusion family of Accelerated Processing Units (APU Fusion AMD) and has a highly anticipated, which is expected to be a murderer on the Intel Atom.
AMD Fusion APU combines a chip, smaller than the pieces of coin , multi-core CPU (x86) graphics engine with DirectX 11 capability, the blocks of high-definition video acceleration, and buses that provide high-speed data from a variety of cores in a processor. With a number of these capabilities, users will be served and satisfied by the speed of performance and image quality as films, videos, games and graphics are presented on a computer screen.
Globally, the AMD Fusion APU has launched in Las Vegas, USA, earlier this month. Products were born after more than four years since AMD bought ATI worth US $ 5.4 billion. Shortly after the two companies merged, planning project linking the functions of the CPU and GPU into a single hybrid chip. After what seems almost endless delays, a semiconductor design firm was finally released its new product in a celebration of the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas earlier this month.
AMD Vice President of Product Marketing for the world, Leslie Lobo, acknowledged AMD Fusion product APU requires extensive research and a substantial budget. While the vice president, Corporate Clients, CTO of the company, Joe Macri, expresses a number of technical obstacles that must be resolved before the final product is finished. However, both expressed satisfaction with the outcome because the AMD Fusion APU can overcome some problems associated with AMD products in recent years,on allegations that quickly drains batteries and a fast hot computer.
AMD Fusion APU can be planted, among others, on a Tablet PC, Netbook, Laptop,Desktop, and is expected to become the main rival of the Atom processor produced by Intel. APU merger have taken a much better ability of the Atom. New available features include HD video playback without cuts, a major advance in computing power to handle graphics applications weight, has a DirectX 11 graphics capabilities, a battery that can last all day (up to 10 hours or more ), and computer stays cool even been used for several hours.
AMD Parties sure there will be more than 35 systems based on AMD Fusion to be launched in Asia and the Pacific this summer. AMD hopes of leading computer manufacturers such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba may soon announce its plans for the AMD Fusion APU system with a price and fair market value.
