Kyocera Hydro – The Waterproof Smartphone
Kyocera re-enliven the world of the smart phone market, they continue to innovate to compete with other giant smart phone manufacturer. Kyocera has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone, the Kyocera Hydro, which is a waterproof Android smartphone that comes with the latest version of Google Android OS, version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Hydro is a Kyocera CDMA handset and the phone can be submerged in water up to one meter deep for up to half an hour. It also has a 3.5 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels.
Further information on the Kyocera Hydro include a single core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512 MB ??of RAM and 2 GB of internal storage, the phone also comes with a microSD card slot can take cards up to 32 GB.
The Kyocera Hydro has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, plus Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi, and will go on sale in the second half of 2012, no pricing details for the times. Read more »
